The United Stated Dinghy Association held their final qualifying regatta for the 2010 US National Team Trials regatta at the St. Pete Yacht Club's Valentines regatta the first weekend of February 2010. The cold Tampa air provided with epic conditions as nearly 250 competitive sailors between the age of 8 and 15 hit the Florida waters to compete for the title of St. Petersburg champion. With racing conditions ranging in wind speed from 15 - 38 knots and temps from 51-67 degrees, these youth sailors proved their metal as they challenged their abilities, strength and endurance through this awesome sailboat race that will surely be talked about for years to come!
