The month of August every year, the top Optimist sailors from North America and around the world travel to Kingston, Ontario in Canada for an opportunity to compete against one-another in 4 days of grueling competition to prove who in the world can come out on top of the worldwide Optimist class at the Canadian Olympic Racing in Kingston (CORK), one of only 2 existing Olympic sailing venues in the world. These photos show those lucky and brave enough to enter the waters of Lake Ontario and emerge victorious against the 10-28 knots of breeze delivered through the regatta.
