2009 USODA New England Optimist Championship Regatta hosted by Sail Newport in Newport, Rhode Island. The regatta was the largest competitive sailing event of the 2009 season so far, with nearly 400 boats competing for the championship title and an invitation to the 2010 USODA Team Trials Regatta in Houston, TX.
