Noroton Yacht Club hosted the 2009 Spring USODA National Team Trials regatta with awesome results and a fabulous event. This Opti regatta, featuring the top 210 sailors in the USA proved to be a true test of skills with varying wind, current and temperatures that pushed the physical limits of sailors from every area of the country. The top finishers of this regatta qualified for a position on the US National Optimist Sailing Team, and will represent the country at several International regattas around the world in 2009.
